I appear to be having some "creep" happening in the spring positions on my MkIII rear end (4-link). It looks as though the ride height is wandering down a bit, as though the springs are slipping slightly under load.
What has anyone else done to prevent this? In the normal car, the top and bottom of the spring itself is captured such that it cannot rotate under normal compression/extension.
Thanks,
Harry

I put hose clamps on the springs to keep them from rotating. Clamps like on a heater hose. Idea came from this forum. Steve

Harry,

I drilled slots in the spring perches and threaded a hose clamp thru the slots to hold the springs in place.
