Anybody know were I can get info on moding the block for a stroker crank and rods? Or do I have to install the crank and rods to find the exact
area and amount to grind off?

Thanks ahead!!

The main issue is clearancing the oil pump boss, here:

In some cases, the bolts might actually clear the cylinder skirts, when turned by hand, but it is best to give some breathing room.

I'm interested in this too, so I'm gonna chime in.

You do this grinding of the skirts BEFORE taking the block to be bored/honed, correct?

Luis,

It can be done either way, but it is better to do it before final honing. For one you don't have to worry about any burrs sticking out. If you have a good machine shop, they will clean the block after honing, so both honing and clearancing shavings will be gone.
