Where did you guys mount your battery box with the 3 link rear? What mods did you do to the frame to get 'er to fit if any?

I built mine ,when i made the cross bar that the panhard bolts to I put a bend in it to clear battery box. I also added a brace from drivers side quad shock to make sure it was stiff enough. Mike

I mounted mine way over to the left, under the trunk floor. If you use a battery that is 7" or less in height (Group 47), you can lift it out of the well and out of the trunk. Over 7 inches and it won't lift out. There's no way it's going out the bottom. Here are some crude photos of what I did:

Thanks for the pics. I actually have that same flaming river unit. LOL.

Since my car doesn't have any hoops in the back at all I was thinking about getting a battery box and mounting it on its side. Dunno...

Anyone else?

The best place for wieght distribution is trunk passenger side... or the Breeze kit that mounts it under the car behind the passenger.(i think its Breezes kit)

Trunk, passenger side. I used the FFR battery relocation kit.
