Thanks to Joe (oldguy668), I got the 3-link install 95% done today. Pete Gibbs and David Borden suggested that we cut out a panel behind the passenger seat and that made this MUCh easier. We were able to cut off the old upper mount with a sawzall in about 4 minutes. Of course it took us another 3-4 hours to grind off the welds, drill the holes, install the link, etc. It went in perfect.

I have to get the new mount welded this week, then install a new panel, but it's finally almost done. Many thanks to Joe for sending me a new upper mount and bolts. And thanks to everyone else for the support and ideas.

I took the car out for a drive and everything looks fine. I opushed it a little and it all felt good. A little more push, but I like understeer.

Now, what are we going to do about these new silver rear coil-overs? They are sooooo loud! I even have a new one thanks to Mark Weber, but it's load too. Anyone want to swap out the old gold shocks for a set of silvers? :D

Bill,

If I remember correctly, you are running 250 rear springs... This is WAY low if you want to handle well in autocross. The car will push in a bad way.

If you can get your rear sway bar in the car without clearance issues, that will help allot. Otherwise, some sort of adjustable rear bar will help get the car ballanced and still have a nice ride in the rear.

Thanks David. I'm working on a sway bar system for the front and rear. I have a buddy who makes sway bars for NSXs and sells them for $250 a set (front and rear) so I'm talking to him about making FFR sets (front and rear) for about the same price. I'll be the first to install it and try it.

Bill, thats great... If you or your buddy wants some assistance with the rates (Bar Diam, and arm length) let me know. The FFR is not like most cars.

I think if you could come up with a kit in that price range, you would sell tons. I have thought of doing that myself.. just dont have the time and energy with everything else going on.
