  3. Steering Advice: PS, EPAS or EHPS?

    Factory Five Roadsters
I'm weighing my options for steering. I'm planning on installing a Coyote motor with a t56 magnum and didn't want to be left with the antiquated manual steering. Early on I had thought I'd go with a flaming river power steering set up, but it seams to be way too expensive. After doing some...

  6. power steering fittings

    Factory Five Roadsters
I'm mounting a power steering pump, I had planned on getting on the road and leaving it for a winter up grade, but things change. Any experience getting a PS pump on an FE in these cars? Was going to see if maybe you could buy just the PS brackets from someone...
  8. Hydroboost question

    Factory Five Roadsters
There have been some excellent threads on using hydroboost power brakes but I couldn't find one question I still have. I am planning to run manual steering so the power steering pump will only power the brakes. Do I simply plug the fitting in the picture below? Any other concerns?
  9. Power Steering Fluid?

    Factory Five Roadsters
I am using a stock fox body ford pump, steering rack and the hydroboost from I believe a 99 Mustang (ebay item). What is the prefered fluid? Capacity? Is the ford premium fluid worth the price? -- Chuck

  11. Any reason not to run P/S through radiator's trans cooler?

    Factory Five Roadsters
Like the message says, is there any problem with running hte power steering fluid through the built in transmission fluid cooler built into the radiator's left tank? It seems a cleaner look that hand bending a couple of loops of tubing and the cooler is already there and not being used. Thanks
