Hi Everyone! I am working through an engine build and was hoping to get some experienced replies from you. Has anyone had any fitment issues under the hood using a 351w block and the Edelbrock RPM air gap intake manifold (EDL-7581; 5.75" tall)? There is also an option for a shorter intake...
I know FF recommends a Torker intake for hood clearance. I was wondering if anyone has tried a different intake. I had an engine built and the builder really wants to use the Victor 460 (which sits on it now) but I can look at it and tell it won't fit. He wants to get the body/ hood mounted...

I have a 1994 Mustang upper and lower intake manifold for sale. I also have the Ford 5.0 HO intake cover plate and OEM throttle body to go with it. I was going to use them as part of my donor build but decided to go another way.

Everything you see here came off of a '97 Mercury Mountaineer. I didn't use it - went the carburetor route. All pictured below for $150 (plus shipping) until noon on Saturday. (Then it goes on Ebay and I don't know the rules regarding taking it off if someone here wants it.)
I bought several of these on closeout but want the money for a motor build. This is the last one I held on to.
It is a brand new, complete kit (with 65mm TB) except a few bolts (and the instructions tell the dimensions), no 24lb. injectors and no 94/95 Cobra J4J1 EEC as was recommended.
I converted an Explorer motor to carb, and kept all the pieces that came off - Explorer upper intake with everything still connected - fuel rails, injectors, MAF, etc, and I also have the lower intake as well. I'm got serious space problems at this stage, and would really like this to go...
