    FFR Type 65 Coupe
Front brake scoop modification (Photo) You might recall the conversion of the fog light buckets in my car to brake scoops (See below). They made a big difference in the cooling of my brakes for track days. Using constution paper templates to refine the shape I refined the scoop to bring air...
  2. Cooling system expansion tank and 4-port hcv

    Factory Five GTM Forum
I've been reading the post on the both the expansion tank and 4-port heater control valve (HCV) cooling system modification. There are two primary threads that are extremely long reads and, at least for me, gave great information but also made it hard to draw a clear picture of what is...
  3. For Sale: Ultimate Custom Radiator FFR Roadster

    Parts For Sale / Wanted

  6. Rekindled Romance (Warning: Steamy)

    FFR Type 65 Coupe
It's been a good long while since I've been on this forum and a couple years now since we 'finished' my Coupe build. Last year, I was busy jumping headfirst into formula car racing in the SCCA. With my weekends spent there, my Coupe only saw rare trips out of the garage. So this summer I've...
  7. Any reason not to run P/S through radiator's trans cooler?

    Factory Five Roadsters
Like the message says, is there any problem with running hte power steering fluid through the built in transmission fluid cooler built into the radiator's left tank? It seems a cleaner look that hand bending a couple of loops of tubing and the cooler is already there and not being used. Thanks
