Just came across this thread. I remember this car catching my eye at Huntington Beach...and it wasnt even done! Your attention to detail is great. Awesome job.
Your custom dash placard has very similar wording to the one i’m having etched up for my car.

A BIG thank you to everybody for all your positive and kind comments! Since this is my first build, I really enjoyed the process and can honestly say that it's been one of the most rewarding learning experiences, other then tinkering with my old cars growing up I've never undertaken an automotive project of this scope and complexity. Like most, I had an idea of what I wanted but had to "learn as I go" from some of the veteran builders on both forums, yes those same builders that were quite eager to help me "spend my money"
Now I hope to carry my experience into the future and help others spend their money too.
Thank you all!

An absolutely gorgeous build.
I have to ask, how did you manage to shave the rear trunk handle? Did you use electric solenoids for a latch?

|j.miller||Well done brother. I like how you found a way to use some of that "real estate" on the underside of the hood. I gotta say......YOU ADDED A LOT OF STUFF TO YOUR CAR !. I swear, if you gave me a box of all that stuff to put on a car it would end up looking like the poster child for J.C.Whitney….but you, you my friend, with your meticulous mind and craftsmanship tied it all together in a nice "TIGHT" package......btw, WHERE'S MY RUBBER BLOCK ! LOL. kidding. If you owe it to me we have a reason to meet up. Cheers Brother...da Bat|

Mr Kleiner and Doc, yes I remember meeting you at last year's HB Cruise In, the car wasn't quite finished and was still missing a bunch of stuff, heck it wasn't even registered but it was close enough and I'm glad I stuck it on a trailer in recognition of a couple of awards.
Atlantacobra, DadofThree, GWL, jhargrove, happybigblock, jj'snakepit, thanks for your kind comments, they are much appreciated! Regarding the headrests, I did a write up on how to build them back on 12/19/2018, look up "Roll bar headrest?" on this forum for build details.

Like Jeff, we met last year at HB and I have to say, your car was beautiful even before it was finished . . . now, it's a work of art and perfect in every aspect of what a car should be.
Congratulations on a job well done.

It's hard to believe, but thanks to the FFCars.com Online Community and Factory Five Racing, built not bought pretty much defines the end of my 5 year journey.
Since the list of upgrades is long I'm only posting a partial list, it's the same list that's on my display sign. In my opinion what really matters are the pictures.
Please help me graduate #8033!
