    ? is your over the top air intake a Spectre and well the hood clear. Spectre says it well not fit a LS3. did you have to modify it?

    Sounds like a nice build. I also got the rear Wilwood kit from Mike Forte and all together he gave me a great price.
    I'm not familiar with the gearing on the 4L65E transmission. I actually went with a 3:08 rear but I'm using a RS500 Keisler with a very low (3.37) first gear. Actually low is the wrong term - high ratio! It also has a 0.67 OD. I went that route because I too am building a cruiser that I want to drive long highway distances for weekend trips and whatnot. The LS3 has tons of torque down low and will easily move this car down the highway at 1700 rpm (60 mph for me). In the Camaro - the rpms are even lower at that speed and that thing is a tank compared to the 33.
    If you are going with LS3 wiring harness don't bother with ISIS. It's truly plug and play and the only thing left to wire is lights, gauges and accessories.
    Boyd tank is awesome - the tank that came with kit is garbage.
