Sorry I don't get on the forum everyday. I'm going to assume you heard this 04 2V run when you got it. Did the other pcm have the same calibration code sticker number? You flipped the chip to it? Might be the chip but probably not. The pcm communicates with the FPDM through 2 wires on pcm pins #40 & 80 then the FPDM runs the fuel pump. Could be the FPDM itself or a bad connection somewhere. If you haven't you need to run a code scanner and see if it's throwing any codes and what are they? If you want to contact me again about this please use my email address: [email protected] Art / CBC Tech

Hello, I believe I talked with you a while back about doing a wirediet. I went ahead and did my own diet. I installed everything from an 04 mustang 4.6/2v into my classic mustang. I have the detail zone chip my pcm to bypass PATS,change fan turn on time, deleted emissions stuff, etc. I'm running the oem returnless style fuel system. My problem is, there is no fuel pump prime cycle present. when the key is on,the pump runs continuously. I have plenty of pressure and the car starts and runs. I have triple checked everything, I have alot of experience with this stuff. Everything leads back to the pcm. I tried another PCM and got the same results. I'm going crazy trying to figure this out. Do you think that chip could cause this issue?
