Hey, I'm in the process of adding a vacuum-actuated butterfly to my exhaust. Looks like you did this a while back, but good ol' Photobucket makes it impossible to see your videos. I'm curious if you ran into anymore issues or if you are still running that setup. I have a thread over in Roadster forum where I posted my plan and wil post updates. Any input you have would be great. Especially a link to any videos/audio. Thanks!
I'm not sure if you are reading PM here, but I will try. I saw old posting about your cobra air cleaner. This is the setup I want to run on my car. What intake manifold are you using? Also what throttle? Mass flow or speed density?
Hey Rod, I was hoping to catch up on the cruise but it looks like that will have to wait for a while. I installed Richard Oben's 5-lug/rear disc kit and have some serious moaning. I called all the wreckers around Ottawa but could not find a set of anti-moan brackets and the dealers can't bring these in anymore. Can you suggest some Quebecois wreckers who might have those parts?
You know what Rod, my passenger bracket is different, the bottom of my shock bolts in the same compartment as my panhard bar, I've got a bracket that looks like its for the drivers side but has the elonged hole for the passenger side, I'll get you a pic soon.
Wait a second, my pass. bracket looks nothing like FFR instuctions or your(pics) but what do I do? go ahead and install it anyway "Idiot"
I'll get back to you on this one.
I've got a question about your 3-link pics. on the passenger side panhardbar to(competition) bracket, the instuction say to use the1/4" shims, your pic it looks like you've used bigger ones. inside dimension on my bracket is about 1 7/8" and I've got approx. 3/4" of play, with the shims installed. Is this right or should the shims butt up to the rod end?
