Well, it is the color I HOPE to paint mine :)

I've found two colors that will work for me:

    1) 1998 Mercedes Sun Burst Yellow #685

    2) 2018 Ford Mustang Tiple Yellow

    Glenn,
I haven't seen any updates on your car lately. You could be too busy driving it. We are making progress on mounting the body and prepping to hang the doors. I totally recommend go karting to put the wind back in your sails if your progress has slowed.

    Merry Christmas, Glen

    Glenn,
The only thing that I was tempted to get used was a rear axle, and the only parts of that that would be re-used were the housing, cover and yoke. Mine came from Mike Forte, all I had to do was paint it. I have a 351 in the shop, but when we added aluminum heads and intake manifold and everything else, that made no sense either. Our 408 Windsor comes with a dyno sheet from a proven combination. (515 hp) I listened to a Coyote respond to a programmer, AMAZING So I agree with your Coyote decision. I'm just an old school guy. We are going carbureted, and it was dynoed on the engine too.

    Come on spring!!! Glen

    Glenn,
Congrats on the new project. We picked Coupe #652 up in September and we are currently working the aluminum. If I could start over again we would probably have undercoated/insulated the panels before riveting them in. Right now I feel like we are building an airplane. I'd also consider using different brake lines as the ones in the kit are difficult to double flare, at least in 30 degree weather. PM'd Chris Allen about meeting him at NJMP if he is heading there this summer. I thought these ideas could save you a headache or two. Happy New Year, Glen

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you on the type 65 coupe for sale. It is still for sale, I just got the title in hand and it can now be transferred. I didn't realize that when I first put it up for sale. There are a few pictures in the for sale thread, and here is a video of it.

I haven't run across anything too startling yet. I will say that the most challenging part will be adapting the J pipes to the coupe dual side pipe exhaust. The easiest would be to exchange them for the single units used on the roadster. If I had to do it again I might opt for that route.
