Hello wormie, I registerred mine las december and was on the road right to the first snow. By now, sorry for the delay in my response, you probably have yours registerred. In any case, you should follow the registration procedure for modified cars in the saaq pdf documents. I had to call the local police department in st-jean, they took an appt for me to have it inspected by the SQ (provincial police) for stolen parts. That is step #1. once done the saaq will refer you to an inspecting station. Be prepared to tow your car a few times. they take pictures and send that to an engeneer in quebec city. When he is satisfied your inspecting station agent will call you to put your conformity sticker to your car. Then you can register it at the SAAQ. Oh yes, before doing anything, take your car to a weight station, they need that paper for your registering process. All went well concidering it's an FFR and they already know these cars well. regards...

    Hi Wormie,

I am not at that stage yet but I know I'll need to get it inspected by a certified engineer, then go to the local police station to show that all parts were bought. Then with the inspection and police papers you can go to the SAAQ.

Here is a link to SAAQ's details. https://secure.saaq.gouv.qc.ca/docum...if_artisan.pdf
