I hope you used a different gasket. I had the same thing happen with a set of the Fel Pro print o seals. They actually melt if any antifreeze gets near them. Some research revealed this is a guaranteed results with this gasket.
Really? This is a "Ford" gasket that they recommended at the Performance Hot Line with their aluminum X306 heads? M-9439-A50. You have now confused me.
I had my issue on a Ford crate engine also. I used the Fel Pro and called Ford after the issue. The gasket, they recommended may have differed in that it had a steel laminate in it. The 1st print o seals did not.
Do a google on the Fel Pro print o seals. My 1st set leaked on the front ports next to the water passages. The paper looked like it dissolved or softened to a mush.
At least you will know the effects if it starts to go bad. Good luck on it.
Very common problem with Fel Pro print o seals! Lots of info here if you do a "search".
