What after market wheels would you get for a Tesla S?

In November I will be getting a Tesla S. I like but don't love the looks of the car and was wondering if after market wheels might help. The reason for getting the car is how advanced they are with autopilot. Went for a ride with a friend and was impressed. It is only going to get better. I do a LOT of freeway driving and it would be a game changer for me from a safety stand point.

CRASH - any input?

Just Curious - Why a Tesla

Just curious. Why a Tesla. If it's safety you are after there are a lot of better choices out there. If it's about the all electric and range then I get it but otherwise there are a lot of advanced autonomous features available in much better looking and performing cars.

2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $55,750
2018 BMW 5 Series - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $56,100
2019 Volvo XC60 - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $44,500
2018 Tesla Model S - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $82,000
2018 Cadillac CT6 - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $70,295
2018 Tesla Model X - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $88,000
2019 Audi A8 - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $91,695
2018 Lexus LS - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $96,520
2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class - Price w/ Autonomous Driving Features: $97,150

Not really. There are a number of Teslas in my company parking garage and I followed an S in this morning. Like the wife, they look great from behind.

Wheels are definitely important and can change the entire look of a car. On the other hand, you never get your money out of a wheel upgrade.

Maybe give it a month or two and see if you really still want to change the wheels? My guess is that you will be so enamored with the other features of the vehicle that any wheel issue will kind of fade away.

I like the idea of not having to go to the gas station. The range on the S is now 370 miles and full autopilot is close. I think Tesla is ahead of the curve with AP.
