Icon15 8 hour Cascade Fall Enduro

Cobra Boyz Racing team will be running the October 19th 8 hour Enduro race at PIR. Four of us will be using old #133 (my car). Two one hour stints each. Pit stops and driver change every hour. Pray the car stays together and the weather isn't horrible. We have a good crew. Fuel people (Dave and Emily), fire bottle guy (the Butchinator), radio chief (Chris), and other pit helpers. Come out and hang for a while if you like. If you come you need to park on the outside and walk over the bridge. There will be no track crossing obviously while the race is going on. Practice starts at 10:00 AM and the race starts at noon. Goes till 8:00 PM so we will be running in the dark the last couple hours. Should be "a hoot" if we can keep the car under us.

SveltGt thanked this.

Well things didn't go well. Transmission went south at about an hour. A lot of time, money, and energy for very little reward. The weather was horrible at start time. Got better but still rained hard off on as the race went on (we were out so didn't really care) but at least it was a bit nicer to watch those left running and to pack up. Lot's of carnage and broken cars. Bummer! Oh well that's racing!
