Exhaust mods

Has anyone been able to merge The supplied headers into a single outlet and if so how? I think it would work better for my Fast efi to get a o2 reading from the whole bank rather than just 2 cylinders. It would also make attachment of the side pipes easier. The reason I ask is that these pipes are way too loud for me and I think I need a single quieter side exhaust.
Mark D you need to come visit Maui!

Mark actually made a collector between the two banks of two pipes for that reason.

Maybe he will share the picture.
