Connecting Vintage Gauges To an Autometer Dash Harness

Guys,

I was sent a RF Dash harness that was setup to be connected to the Autometer gauges, however I purchased Vintage gauges instead. Can anyone tell me how to connect the Vintage gauges to the RF Autometer Dash harness.

I can really use some expert help here.

Thanks,

Damien

Out of curiosity how do you know you have the wrong ones?

I opened my Vintage GPS Gauges and looked at the dash harness and they dont seem to go together but I have only looked for a min.

My dash hardness dates back to 2014. In that dash harness there are 4 dash harness plugs that connect to the main harness system. In subsequent dash harness there are only 3 dash harness plugs that attach to the main harness. My 2014 dash harness wiring drawing interfaces with Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges while the subsequent dash harness wiring drawing interfaces with Vintage Speedhut gauges.

I don't know if the above explanation helps you. you may not have this problem. My problem with interfacing the Vintage gauges with a dash harness setup to work with the Autometer gauges has been discussed on this forum. I am trying to work my way through these posts and apply them to my problem, oh I mean challenge.

What version of RF harness installation instructions do you have? If Rev N or earlier, the following posts from Jeff Kleiner may be useful:

Also, don't forget to check your inertia switch! https://www.ffcars.com/forums/17-fac...-question.html
