driveline question

Men of the Snake:

Running 4.62v on solid engine mounts, 3650, 4 link rear on rebuilt 8.8. They shortened the axles and tubes during rebuild which now that I think of it they had to re position the brackets. Rear end dropped right in with all 4 arms aligned properly which makes me hope the geometry is right on those brackets.

installed the driveline and it seems to be a little too long. It's smooshing the tailshaft gasket just barely. I'm guessing that wont last as is. Driveline is the spec dimension at 13.5" PN 16349

Any ideas here? Is there a quick way to measure to ensure the axle is centered fore and aft to verify my geometry before i go and have the driveline shortened? How much of the shaft should be showing?

I have not verified the driveline angle yet. As pictured the diff is on jack stands so it's weight bearing and the frame is level with the ground.

Getting rid of those wonky springs in on my upgrade list.

I emailed factory five but it's Sunday.

TIA

Duncan

As it sits you're an inch to inch and a half too long.

Factory five's customer service is top notch. After an email discussion they're sending me a shorter driveline. Love this company.
