A Promise and Perfect attendance .... Miranda's Carriage

Many of you were extremely supportive when my family suffered the loss of our daughter, Miranda.

When we loss Miranda, her brother, Alex made a promise that has taken him 13 years to fulfill. I just wanted to share
the news of that promise.

If this is what I think it is, and I am almost positive it is, I remember seeing your car at a Whitby's Christmas Party way back when. If I recall correctly, you had it painted per your daughter's favorite color. Awesome for your son. Congrats to him!

What a beautiful tribute by a fine young man!!

I know you all must be very proud of your son for honoring a commitment he made so many years ago! Integrity is a trait in short supply these days, and Alex demonstrated that repeatedly. I know there had to have been days where he would have preferred to stay home, or do something different, but honoring this promise was more important to him; nicely done Alex!

Thank you for sharing this bittersweet story. What is next for Alex?

Regards,

Steve

Hi Preston,
Wow, you must be so proud! I remember well when you introduced us to Miranda's Carriage and all the birthdays since. Your son's achievement on its own is very impressive, his dedication to the memory of his sister is incredible.

God bless!

"Can you imagine?!"

Stories like Alex's.....and....Miranda's are what give me hope for this broken world.
That young man is going far.
Congratulations.

Great story and good for him to fulfill his commitment to his sister. Quite an achievement.
