Finally coming together. I really like the padded roll bar and the panels in the trunk

Series of shots of the final interior product. I am particularly pleased with the roof seam cover, the backsplash with Ethyl, the rubber pad under the pedals, the Console, and the Trunk Panels

Very nice, I love that trim between the hardtop and body, I need to do that to mine. The little caps for the bolt access holes were too small for the holes I drilled and this is a perfect solution. Awesome job.

Yes I would say you could do that and it would be quite easy to do. One member in the forum actually fixed the trunk so it would open towards the rear, like a rumble seat.

So Bill is that the same exhaust you have always had? Sounds mean, and I don't recall it sounding like that when you let me drive it.

Same exhaust, of course we started it with the pipes facing the interior of the shop so their was some echo. I haven't checked the AFR in quite a while so I don't know how on or off the tune is.

Probably coming home next weekend. Down to a few punch list items. Wiring window and window sweeps are the biggest poles in the tent.

Got some shots of the weather striping on the door. Also had "Daniel the Pinstriper," put the pinstripes on. Finishing touches were matching the interior color and simple accents on the ends. Daniel signed his artwork, I thought that was cool. Also my wife who has worked with 121 Rod & Restoration on the color came out to help us decide. Daniel was spot on and kept it simple matching the interior color.

Don't want to step on any rules. Went by Summit Racing today. I was impressed with the displays which tied together entire systems. I highly recommend a visit there as a way to get ideas and plan technical solutions to your build. I happened upon a senior tech teaching another sales rep on the floor about gapping rings for engine builds intending to use NOS. It was a great place to brainstorm and figure out what all is needed to accomplish your goals.

So got some pics from the shop today. Mostly Glamour but they undercoated the fenders, since I intend to drive the shit out of it I thought that would be the most durable. Still have to work out the seams, finish the mounting on the front fenders, and get the window whiskers in.

Car is done, we are waiting on some window sweeps that will be here next week. Other than that she is ready. Sat in her, played the radio, enjoyed the interior lights, and watched the wiper work. Three Point Seat Belts are in, fenders on, and the hood fitting is complete. Weather stripping is done except for the windows that are waiting parts.
