*Update* Starting bodywork. Need advice, please help!. See post #155.

Hello everyone! Long time lurker on the forum, finally have started my own build. The car is a Factory Five 33 Hot Rod kit which will be powered by a GM LS1,T56 transmission, and Ford 8.8 three link rear end. Here is a video describing the details of the project and I will be vlogging the entire build of the car. Please subscribe to the Youtube channel to see the build progress. There is also pictures of the build on my Instagram @dizzymarcus. I will also be posting the new videos here. Let me know what you think, thanks!

Building Issues

I totally agree with Tim's comments. I am new at this, and admit I learn something daily. Before I bought my Kit, I was overseas for months, and spend hours in the evenings and weekends reading all the Forums, Manuals, and Videos. The nice thing about the FFR Kit, is you can configure the car to YOUR desires. We all have budgets and different experience levels. What I did, was try to take ALL this information, think about it, check my budget, and go from there. I have to give a LOT of thanks to Tim Whittaker and Dan Ruth for their assistance in my choices and questions. I am extremely happy with the quality of the parts I received from both of them. However, when you start modifying your car with all the Vendor Options, your WILL have issues. To me, that is all part of the enjoyment of the built. I only have 2 issues with Tim and Dan. Tim is an Aviation Specialist, and very focused on detail and quality (good thing). My only problem with Dan, is he keeps telling me "I told you that before", and "Read the Instructions!". I tell him I am 70 years old, and have an excuse.
THANKS GUYS!

power steering

If you're not happy with the power steering, you might want to try mounting the motor on the firewall with a small (~10-15 degrees, IIRC) wedge to ease some of the U-joint angles. Check out Dale Berry's build thread - either Buck70 or Hemi33 on this forum - can't remember which...
