Pete Gibbs And His
Custom Factory Five Roadster
By: Bill Peirce
April 2002, Houston - I had
the pleasure of meeting Pete
Gibbs, a fellow Houston FFR owner. Pete is in the plastics
business. He's the guy behind the glove box being sold at Finish
Line. I finally got to see this glove box in person and all I
have to say is, "That's a great idea!" How much easier
could a glove box installation be? Just cut out the hole and slip in the
box!
Pete's car is very unique. You can tell that
he's a very talented manufacturer. He has all kinds of cool things
installed on his Factory Five Racing Roadster. Here's some pictures
of his car and more of his cool ideas. Click on any picture to

This is Pete's Factory Five Roadster.
He painted it black with some very wild
stripes that wrap around the front grill. This is the first
time that I've seen stripes like Pete's and I must say, they look
cool.
He runs Cobra-R wheels and a custom hard
top. The windows open in gull-wing fashion.

Pete's manufactures a glove box that can be
purchased through Finish
Line. This is a really nice product. He also makes a cool air
system for the FFR cars which can be bought from Finish Line. The vents
and glove box pictures are here. Click to enlarge.
Here are some other cool parts Pete made.
Including a custom center console, bumper jacks, and more. Click to
