Hello Rick, yesterday I put a post on the forum with my undercar exhaust diagram and some pics. I tried to pm them to you but could not make it work. Anyway, you can now see them on ffcars.com. The feedback so far has been negative due to heat concerns and difficulty to build. Appreciate your thoughts.

Rick, I have an Excel file which shows a 2D diagram of how I would like to route my exhaust with some pics from under the car. Basically I have an open space above the 4 inch trans support where I think I can squeeze two 2.5 inch pipes ( right where the neutral safety sender is). I also have a space ABOVE the gas tank where I can fit a nice size muffler. I am concerned about heat ventilation for that area. Problem is I don't know how to attach files to one of these messages. Can you tell me how to attach them or send me your normal email address? My email is rbh4647@gmail.com
    Thank you.

Hi Rick, How are you? I miss your monthly updates. Hope to install your top this summer. Been too busy with work. I think I put 50 miles all told on the Cobra last summer. Drop me a line.

    Cheers,

I got a notification of an unread visitor message, but the message is in some kind of computer code. If someone is trying to get me a message please try a P/M.

    Bob,

I have not searched the local area for a painter that is experienced with the intricacies of doing an FFR.

I did my original "temporary" paint with spray cans just to have some color while doing the shake down phase.

I'm starting a class in painting at my local community college (Cuesta College) just north of SLO on Monday (August 17, 2015) and plan on using my car as my class project (or more correctly, using the class to get a decent paint job on my FFR, and on my '67 Cougar, which I'm working on now).

If I had to find a local painter I'd start at the local Saturday morning motor head gatherings and talk to those who have a good looking paint job about where they went.

    Regards, Rick.

    Hi Rick,
I have a Mk IV FF Cobra in Santa Barbara. I need to have the body work and paint done to complete the project. Do you have any recommendations in the Santa Barbara, Ventura or San Luis areas?

    Hey Rick:

It's Preston Kunda. Hope all is well. Finally getting back into the saddle so to speak. I posted pictures of the seats that finally got done (2 years with one guy.. finally took them back and the new guy got them done in less than a month).

Taking Miranda's Carriage to a friend's body shop (different from Bobby that you spoke to before) and he's going to hopefully get everything wrapped up (finally).

Bobby was never able to get the top to work, so Chuck may have some questions for you. Is there a good contact number or email for any questions?

    Thank you,

    Preston

I have been unable to upload photos to either PhotoBucket or the FFCars Forum since about early June.

I think I have some kind of bug on my computer. I'm looking for a good local person to try to get it out.

When I could upload to photo bucket, I could then post the picture on the Fourm, and I think I can now post any that I already have there, I also think I can post any pictures I have in my Gallery on FFCars.

PhotoBucket is telling me that I need Adobe Flash Path 10 to upload now. I've tried to do that but my computer is not allowing that to happen. Just as the download and installation are finished I get the "Law-&-Order" sound and a statement that the files can't be found and to try to upload again, when I do I get the same results. I sent you the message I get when I try to put a picture in my Gallery.

Thanks for the help, any advice?

    Regards, Rick.

You posted on the trunk thread and when looking at your "About me" you are from Morro Bay. My family used to own Bob's sea food and the Golden Swan gift shop and sail boat. Haven't been back to Morro Bay in ages as I live in FL now. What memories of that place. I still own a mountain cabin in Cambria.

    Hi Rick,

Just thought I would let you know that Greg Marsh and Dave Williams have had me out on the road in the cobra. I actually drove 50 plus miles with Dave yesterday in the mountains. We drove a total of 90 miles. I asked Dave to drive back to my home which he enjoyed. The car handled very nice, as Dave was driving it at a much faster speed and confidence than I did.

By driving it harder we found the car was over heating. Dave came over today, checked the coolant levels which was low. Tomorrow I plan on driving for a few hours again. I love it. Thanks to you and the other guys on the build team, Don's dream lives on through all of us.

Do you have a website for the top? Do you still sell the top? What would a setup like that run for an MKI with a solid black top? I really like the look of that in front of the roll bar. Thanks for any info.
