Wayne, I might be able to make this. I will have to see how next weekends schedule nets out. Can you PM me your address and the timing/details for the get together, in case my schedule is free? Always looking for an excuse to drive the FFR with this great weather we've been having lately.

Thumbs up

Congratulations Wayne on your decision to build a coupe and join the FFR family. It is only good times from here on out.

I will pass on your tri-tip party next Saturday as the weather looks good for running my car at Willow Springs that weekend. Rest assured the crazies that will come and eat your food and drink your beer are the best mechanics and "all-around good people" you will ever meet. All will do everything they can to make your build spectacular.

I know you will make us "old farts" proud.

What a Blast! Thanks for Coming Everyone!

Frank and Mike and Mikey and Julie and Julie and Larry and Erik - and everyone else I forgot - THANKS for coming over - it was great to see the Roadsters - and the 33 roll into my cul-de-sac today. The weather was perfect, I got a lot of good advice, some un-expected neat gifts, and got help getting the body off the chassis, too! I didn't take many pictures, since I was too busy talking about stuff. I should have made some notes on who-did-what and who-is-who..... But this means we will have to do another BBQ soon.

I will post more info and pictures on my WordPress site later this weekend...

Here are some pictures - and I officially started the build today - chassis aluminum removed! Oh. Wait. Removing chassis aluminum is un-building - does that count?

-wayne

Wayne, thanks for opening up your garage and house. You have an excellent car to enjoy building, t-shirt to wear doing it and a model to show on lookers what the heck you're building. Let us know how your build is coming along and when more tri-tip is on the menu for lunch.
