New Project

Picked up a new project from a friend who needed to abandon ship in the middle of restoration. He does fabulous work and I hope to keep up with his standards.
It's 67 Mustang Coupe that he has done most of the hard dirty work. Floors, trunk and front end is all cleaned up and ready to go. He's done the bulk of the body work too. Comes with upgraded suspension and brakes for front and rear as well as a new 9" with support braces, new diff, axles and brakes.
It also has a new hood and front valance, frame braces to tie the front and rear together are all welded in, plus lots of new interior and exterior parts.

This one will have to wait a while to get finished as we are trying to get ready to sell our place and move to something larger with more garage space.

That looks great I love the front suspension work. I haven't seen that before. Some of the old and some of the new suspension parts and configuration together. Is that rack and pinion front steer? You are correct the dirty work is done. I’m getting to that point on my 65 Comet project and it’s a lot of hard dirty work. It's funny but it seems to be the natural progression to go from an FFR project to a 60's ford restoration project. There are several of us who have projects going and have posts in the “Other Cars” part of this forum. If you have a chance check them out.

Marshall I'm probably going to go a little more basic with FI 347 or something along those lines.
