Ha ha, I meant easy place to meet near 134 to cruise in together. La Canada is sorta out of way for most of us valley girls.
I just want to let you all know, I talked with Karen Salvaggio last week. As it stands right now Karen will not be there for the AHA Show, her car however will be. You see, "It" has been in the Wally Parks Museum as part of the 50th Anniversary of the Cobra for the past few months thanks to T.C.McNett. T.C. went over to Karen's care takers for her cars, The Riverside Museum, and moved the car over to be part of the 50th for the Cobra.
I say this every year, but I feel a certain obligation to be part of the AHA show as they were the ones that introduced me to the FFR family. I was at Knott's the first year FFR was part of the show way back when (1995 I think) and without this show I would imagine that I would have not found FFR when I did. So a big Thank You from me to Dean H. and all of the others with AHA that put this show together each year. If you are on the fence about whether you are going to participate, let me say this. It is "We" who participate that are going to continue to make this show a success. If you think there is something that will make this show better, then please, let's make it happen. I know allot of people complained when it was held in that hot, miserable parking lot out at Knott's. Now with the venue change there is no reason we can't make this a banner show that continues to grow each year and get better. So come on, let's do it.
Off my soap box now. Frank

I too got support to undertake the build process by the members of AHA. Their encouragement meant a lot in the beginning of my build. That is why I will be in attendance and participate in their annual show. They might be the only organization representing the handcrafted car movement and deserve our kudos and applause.
See you there, Frank.

I'll be there for the first time with my hoodless, unpainted car. Also, this is an awesome venue...I could spend entire afternoon in the museum looking at the memorabilia.

Frank's post reminded me of our roots in this event, and all the great memories from previous AHA Shows....I'll be there with the Coupe, and will look forward to seeing a big group of our FFR friends!!!

Who all is going from the Mission Viejo area? I plan to be cruising by Hooter's at El Toro and the 5 around 7:30AM. Anyone interested in meeting there at 7:30, leave a post and bring some donuts.

That's a little early for boobies and wings ain't it? Are they even open? I need to be up there at 8am to set up the booth. P33. Still not sure how I'm going to get this giant easy up up there in the Hot Rod. Maybe a mini trailer?

Erik must not have spent any time in Vegas, it's never too early for that.
Finally got my confirmation today. Riverside to Upland by way of Santa Clarita, thanks USPS. Looks like I'm out of favor with AHA, space number Z-42. Looks like I'm not even in the same parking lot with all of you. I must have been a bit abrasive last year.

Good, I see they got my note...and the ten spot!

If there is space, I'd love to have all you guys over by the booth. Would anyone be interested? I may even need at least one or two cars since I may not bring my own. The logistics of an easy up in the hot rod aren't working out and if the weather doesn't cooperate, it's going to be tough.
