Driving a Cobra in the snow?

Is like having sex on the beach. Its fun but takes a lot of work to get her clean. Talked to Bassett Racing Headers. Best way to clean ceramic headers is with Windex. Tough stains can be removed with fine steel wool. Careful not to rub through the coating.

Wow, I was planning to post this information tonight. I had a plastic shopping bag melt onto the front of one of my side pipes a few weeks ago. I tried everything including using a razor blade and had no luck. A few days ago I tried 00 steel wool and 30 seconds later it looked perfect.

I used steel wool and simple green on a header that burned through my car cover. Totally had a brain fart when covering the car after a long ride! Won't make that mistake again. It rubbed out okay but there is still a slight discoloration when it gets hot due to the uneven coating of ceramic since I had to rub some off to get rid of the black mess.

Lesson learned, and only I will really notice it unless I point it out to someone.

Protect that car cover from those pipes!

Suggestion; sew an ironing board cover pad to the inside of the car cover where it touches the pipes. It works for me.

Good Idea! And I won't even have to make holes in the proper location since the pipes already did that for me!

That is a great idea. I personalized my cover the same way... I sent my brand new cover back to California Car Covers and they repaired it for me for a grand total of $0.
