Does Anyone Know if FFR will Be at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion in August?
I was wondering if FFR has planned to have a display at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca in August?(Previously known as the Monterey Historic Races) Since I saw nothing on their website concerning this. It will be the largest gathering of original Cobras in the world and they are expecting in excess of 300 spectator Cobras with special infield corral parking and tribute laps for all types of Cobras including replicas. It will be a real shame and a marketing blunder if they have not already planned to be there IMHO. Their marketing director gave me a snitty response that did not say wether orr not they were going to be there, so I was just wondering if anyone know for sure.

At one time years ago they were at the historics i believe, was mentioned at the time that it was expensive just to have a booth there but you would think if there was ever a year to be there this is it,Pat.
I am not aware of them ever being there, but I could be wrong. I do know that Superformance along with Rousch have been there most years and i would think will be again this year. They share the sales and display area to cut down on costs. i would think that FFR could hookup with Keith Craft or some other big name engine builder and do the same. Being that the Monterey Motorsports Reunion takes place during Car Week, there are over 200,000 people from all over the world specifically here on the peninsula for classic cars. So I would think it would be worth the expense any year, but this year for sure since there will be more people interested in Cobras in one place then anywhere in the country. Besides all the people bringing Cobras, there are always between 65,000 and 100,000 fans at the track for this event. Since this year they are coming for the Cobras, I would have thought it would have been at the top of FFR's list for this years events, but there is no mention of it anywhere. What a missed opportunity.

I really doubt that FFR will be there. However, there will be several FFR coupes with the "Brock Coupe Group", myself included. I know for sure that Karen Salvaggio will be there with a coupe, as well. Don't know how many other FFR's will be there, but for me, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I intend to make the most of it.
See you at Laguna Seca!

well i hope to see a bunch of you guys and gals out there. I am there most years but as was said "this year especially". I had planned on taking my car and have been looking forward to it all year and then a week ago last Saturdy, i fell off a ladder ab broke both the radius and ulner bones in my arm and shattered my wrist bone. The timing will be pretty close, so i hope my cast is off before then, so i can bring my car. if not i will be co-pilot in a friends Cobra.
