Looking for a good appraiser in Fremont or surrounding areas

My modular Notch was the first car in a 3 car pile up on I-880 north on Monday. The insurance company (Access) is screwing me on the estimated value on my 88 Modular Notch Mustang. The car was completely restored and was pretty much a 2004 Mach 1 in an 88 Notch back shell.

Since I did all the work I have no record of bills except for a few parts that I bought a year ago. and most parts were cash bought from forum members and craigslist ads.

Lance Coren, goes by The ferrari appraiser...theautoappraiser.com he does them for insurance companies all the time. I have repaired 38 wrecked cobras, and have had him appraise them for me to get the proper value. he may consider doing the value for you, however you would most likely have to foot the bill. if you have an attorney...they could get you're money back for the appraisal. Im assuming the accident wasn't your fault, however if it was, your insurance co will only consider how you had the car insured. if it was insured as a stock 88 notch...you're done...if it was insured with a stated value..you're golden. good luck, SRP

Hi Ken,

I wasn't at fault. I was actually stopped on the highway because of an accident that just occured ahead of me. A BMW plowed into me from the rear and the Buick behind them just brought us all together.

I was going to do an appraisal on the Mustang, but opted to wait until the interior panels and door panels were done. Everything else was done. If they pay me to fix it, I guess you would be a possible option, since you have a frame straightener.
