Well, I've been lurking for a few years, and chiming in rarely, but as I type this from the garage, with my donor sitting behind me, I figured no time like the present to say hey.
96 SVT COBRA donor (4.6L DOHC). Planning on using as much as I can (hydro boost PS/PB,ABS) from the donor and the engine pretty stock for time being. Effort's going to go to the interior comforts and something a little different with the dash.
Timing should be interesting with three kids under 9 competing for my attention, (and they generally win over things mechanical). Planning on getting the donor torn down and sold off before the snow flakes fly, reconditioning stuff over the winter and going all in next summer. (I always wanted to see my name on one of the kits up on the wall at the July open house...)
Anyway, I met a few of you at the last open house. Looking forward to lots of fun days ahead!

Definitely will keep the kids involved! So far my boy is the most interested. Hard to pull him away from his thomas trains, though. It's all pretty abstract to him right now....
