I am planning on using a Ford Performance Parts M-607-XE3M 345h.p. motor. Any issues going with the stock 5.0 fuel injection, oil pan etc? Looking for words of wisdom from someone that has already been down this road.
Thanks

Beef,
The stock oil pan and water pump work fine. The stock intake manifold and injectors are too small for this combo. You might want to use 24# injectors and an Eldebrock intake (these are nicely finished-made in USA). The Ford Racing "Cobra" intake is made in China, now!!!
Also use a 65MM throttle body-BBK, Eldebrock and Holley make these.
Best regards,
Chuck

The stock oil pan has absolutely no baffling. You may want to change this out if you're into "spirited" driving.

I have the same crate engine and am planning to go with Mass-Flo with 24Lb injectors. I think the stock fuel lines will be good, but am planning to get a bigger fuel pump.
I am just trying to get good info and all the correct parts lined up and payed for.
Appreciate all your inputs and help!
