i cant wait to order my kit
im just waiting for the right time to get the kit and start building

any suggestions for a guy looking to get started
as of now i have a 99 cobra
and im pondering the desicion on whether to use my current car as the doner

or to go with a 5.0 as a doner

or maybee to even go with a 5.4 litre d.o.h.c navigator engine

im not sure im new any advice would be greatly appreciated

what kind of forced induction do most of the guys go with on here

welcome to the forum.

the 5.4 engines won't fit, too wide.
as it is now the 4.6 engines barely fit, here's mine:

and the 4.6 builds are more complex, but they can be done with great results.

If you want to go the easy route for your first time go with a 5.0 build.

Good Luck !

Sergio

Welcome. I don't think I've seen anyone use the 5.4 Nav. engine. For forced induction, most here are using a supercharger. A few squirt NOS but the majority are running N/A injection or carb.

What kind of shape is the '99 in? If it's in great shape, you might be better off selling it than canibalizing it.
Then apply the funds to a combination of donor/non-donor parts for your FFR.

Welcome to the forum. I suggest that you use the search feature of this forum to look for answers to your questions. You will get replies from a better cross section of builders then posting a new topic. You can always post a new topic there is no problem with that but you get the answers from the builders who are currently active in the forum and not the full cross section. For your 4.6 questions there is a 4.6 section of this forum that you might take a look at. Below are links to some previous topics that might help.
