Methanol injection

I have seen Snow performance methanol injection systems and they work great. Has anyone tried Mr Freeze. I love how simple it is, but would like to here from someone who has first hand knowledge. Thanks

I haven't used either. I thought about methanol injection, but at $3 a gallon, I didn't want another tank to fill, etc. Both of my twin turbo applications (V12 FFR, V10 TDI daily driver) have intercoolers. Same effect, zero maintenance or ongoing costs.

Cheers, John

I don't know anyone who has tried Mr Freeze. I have an AIS system on my car but leave the power to it unplugged because I haven't needed to turn the boost up any higher yet. I think water/meth inj is a screaming bargain compared to the cost of race fuel if you need the extra octane. A gallon tank will last a long time depending upon how much you're under boost. Make sure and research the different brands and availability of tech support before you purchase. You can run a sick amount of boost on a correctly set up system with proper tuning and fuel supply. Cheers.

Talking I use Snow.....

WINTER washer fluid / summer fluid with heet yellow = apx $2.00 a gallon is what I use..... At 17 psi Im using 1 gallon to a tank of gas flogging the car. I more use it as a safety & mpg booster at this time. Safety in that my AFRs stay richer at higher rpm under boost and my timing can stay advanced [timing = POWER]. Mpgs in that since I started using meth I have been driving my car harder [always on boost vs dogging around town] and I am still getting 26 mpg. This is with a front mounted intercooler.
