I've got my account set to send "instant" notifications for private messages and for replies to subscribed threads..
Why is it taking 2-3 days for me to get notifications?
Ive gone in and turned off the function and turned back on but still the same..

Not sure what happened, but I quit receiving email notifications about 2 months ago. I've rechecked and changed my notifications settings, but no improvement.
I don't have this issue with any other forum I frequent and didn't change anything.
I wish this site would quit fixing things that aren't broke.

MPtech posted at 11:14 am yesterday, got notification at 4:12 this morning.
Bobs post was at 7:05pm, notification came at 8:02pm
so no rime or reason when they come.. except Bills, never got that one??
At least now I know I'm not the only one...

some of the email service providers are throttling the mail we send out since our mail servers send so much across the whole network. Comcast, Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL are the biggest offenders. Gmail will on occasion do this as well.
I've got it set to my comcast..
Maybe I'll change to my gmail
