You guys are missing the obvious.

You are BUILDING a car, NOT buying parts.

What you bought was the beginning, not the end product.

I also bought rock guards and a fibre dash.Yes they were rough.

Yes, I spent many hours on them cutting, trimming, grinding, sanding, compounding, polishing and fitting them. They look great. And personal satisfaction of having completed the part is comforting.

by the way, if I were to do it again, I'd fabricate the parts from scratch, raw fabric and resin.
