3M Scratch Removal System
Thursday's drive resulted in 3 scratches in the clear coat, Went to Wal-Mart and saw the 3M Kit #39071 for $18. It worked great!!! I would provide photos if in my hast I hadn't deleted them from my phone. For small touchups I'd recommend it. The only thing that I would warn about is the mess of the buffing and rubbing compounds. The directions gave "tips" on how to reduce mess, but my experience says that it will fly all over the place no matter what you do.

Good onformation to have. I have a spot on my truck from a fallen limb that I need to buff out. I may try the 3M kit.

I have been really doubtful with these scratch removers though if you say that it works, then I think that I have to give it a try.

There are even those smart pens on home shopping network which is to work just like a pentel pen you have to write over the scratch and see it disappear magically.

I would not even think about giving that one a try but that sure is very persuasive with what it can accomplish.
