I would think a talented glass guy would be able to replicate the nose section and wheelwell shapes for either version of the 289. They could be grafted to the 427 body without too much trouble, and you'd have an FFR 289 street or FIA car...
If I hadn't always dreamed of having a 427sc style, then I might attempt it just to have something a little different! I do have to admit, those earlier versions have grown on me - maybe the next car...
