MSD alternator problems

I bought a MSD alternator for my car, for a stock install into a 90`s Mustang, so 3 wires and a OEM connector. Contacted MSD about rewireing it for a one wire system but got the standard reply of " can`t be done and you need to buy a new one" Posted a question on their forum on how to connect with my aftermarket harness and no response...so much for customer care.
1. Anyone know what would be required to convert to a one wire system or is it possible ?
2. Confused with the schematic, so, where do the 3 wires from the alternator side connect as in pwr, grnd etc.?
Thanks

The 90's Mustang can be wired to a one wire system.
Do you have both alternator connectors?
One is a grey connector and the other is a large black connector.

Yes I do. I am using a Rebel wire harness which if I remember correctly has 2 wires designated alternator.
