Aftermarket Head Unit issues.
My brother posted this on a grand am forum, i thought maybe someone here could help as well...
"When I first got my 02' grand am we originally replaced the rear 6x9's with a couple of pioneers http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130TSA6...3R.html?tp=105 and had no issues with these playing with the front stock speakers and the stock head unit.
Recently I just got a new aftermarket head unit http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1303200...RID130&tp=5684 along with the necessary GMOS-4 harness in order to maintain the factory door chimes.
After setting up the harness and getting power to the unit, the rear speakers only work while the car is 'on' but cut out after a few seconds once the engine is started and the front speakers will not work at all.
any suggestions?"
