Electrical Gremlins

Something funny has happened with the head lights and I don't know where to start looking.

I went out Fri. night to a local car show with the cobra and being dusk I had my head lights on, no problem. When I left to go home I noticed the left head light was out, so I thought.

Now that it's home in the garage I went to check out a few things. When I turn on the head lights the left one is not totally out but is extremely faint, just a slight glow. Then when I turn on the high beam the left one works just fine but the right one goes out. I have checked for loose connections and found no obvious ones. I fiqure the fuse is fine or I would have no lights at all.

The question is where do I check next, relays, grounds or any other suggestions?

I would start with the grounds.

Ditto. Make sure the frame is sanded to the bare metal at the ground points.
