Chevy truck brake lines?

We went to take the trash out this week. We got it all loaded up hit the brakes to put it in gear and it went to the floor. So who do I get a brake line kit from inlinetube.co dose not have 3/4 ton 4x4 ext.cab long bed kits. Any help would be great I want to replace them do not want o be pulling the boat and loose one.

I would check with your local NAPA store.. You could cut the line upstream of the leak where the line is clean, flare a new fitting in the line, join to a new length of libe with a union, same on the other end. PITB, but it may be the only affordable way to repair it..

Sorry, I don't have an answer on where to find a set of lines but whatever you do replace them all! Rusting brake lines are a well known problem on full size GM trucks and SUVs from the late '90s up through 2005 or so. I have owned one personally and had two others in the company fleet---had failures on all three! Thankfully they were all like yours; the lines popped while stepping on the brakes when shifting between gears. Last time I looked into it a year or so ago the NTHSA had an open investigation on the problem to determine if a full blown recall would be ordered. Not sure what the outcome was or if there is one at this time. I'd check with your dealer to see if they are doing repairs as part of an official recall or possibly a "goodwill" campaign (i.e. not a mandated or active recall but they will take care of the problem without acknowledging a defect).

I have e-mails out to two companys about full kits. Big I may do that as a temp repair but if I am going to tow my boat I want them all new so I do not have to worry about it. Thanks for your insight guys.
