Axles went in today, got to rip through the parking lot a little. had to be gentle since the tune is really rough. Going to the chassis dyno this Saturday to get it dialed in. I won't be pushing it hard just working on the tune making sure it is happy before I put the body on and everything gets hard to get to. I'll post up some vids towards the end of the weekend as long as I don't do anything to embarrass myself!
No numbers yet... Top Secret! Well no actually things just didn't go that well. Had some injector issues, one sticking open which results in the flame seen in the pics! Not good but its a cool picture. I think I have most of the issues worked out except for my wastegates opening before I can make any boost which means no numbers yet. I figured there were going to be some issues so its just a matter of working through them. First turbo car for me and since I made so many of the parts I figured there would be some redesign along the way. Just got to figure out what exactly is going on then I can fix it.
Had some turbo issues and just finally got them back on the car. While waiting for them I put the body back on, finished some mics stuff. Finished the interior, got lights wired up etc. I drove it for the first time down the street on Wednesday and then did a little driving this weekend. Got some bugs to work out but its pretty awesome!

Thanks for the compliments. Car made its debut this weekend. Drove it and a few of my other cars and shop projects to Midnight Mass car show this weekend. I did a shop display and everyone got to see the 37 for the first time.
Its a 27 T roadster. Reproduction body by Shadow Rodz, frame by Pinkies and everything else by me. Motor is a 292 GMC six with paxton supercharger. I built the manifold/header with hidden efi. Look like mechanical injection. I also fabbed the edsel grille/shell and every other cool part was one off in my shop.

Your stuff is more "On the edge" than Chip's work.. His creations are more subtle for the most part. Both work well for me. Your 37 for instance. Subtle, but with some flair. How would Chip have done that car? Probably not that much different, except he would have painted it a two-tone with pinstriping definitions. That's where you edge comes in .. Bare steel look is edgy. Lots better than the flat paint jobs IMHO..
Now the other car? Chip would not have built it. Someone like Dean Jeffries would have though.. Although he might have done a jet fighter Cockpit in it..
I think you are both tremendous talents and I'd love to see what you two could come up with in a collaborative effort...
Maybe after I win the lottery...

Hopefully my last comment didn't sound to bad... I vary rarely follow what the "big" guys are doing. I always think of what you just said a two tone pinstriped (muscle car) something with big wheels and brakes. Not really my cup but I am sure Chip does more than that, just what I have seen. Most of my stuff is intended to be painted including the 37, just got to work all the bugs out. Also when its my own project its really hard to scrounge up time and money so things get driven how they are so I can get some enjoyment out of them. Otherwise they would be out of date by the time they hit the road. I take it as a huge compliment to be mentioned or thought of on the level of some of the "big" guys though... Thanks
