mach'er Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: SE MI Posts: 6	Donor Front End Accessory Drive I'm headed to an auto swap meet on Sunday morning, with my eye out for pieces parts for an engine build. My plan is for a scratch built engine - Dart block, stroker kit, so on and so forth - meaning that there is no donor engine to obtain engine accessory parts from. It'll be an 8.2" deck build to go in a coupe. I'd thinking I'd rather go V-belt than serpentine belt, so that I can remove the A/C drag when on track. Anyone have recommendations on any particulars for donor sources for front end accessories for such a scratch build? I'm looking for alternator, A/C compressor, power steering, and the brackets and pulleys. Is there any year/model 302/5.0 that is any better or worse for function or fitment? Or any other words of wisdom? I'm trying to avoid buying a complete donor engine just to have the accessory dress parts available. Although, that might be easier. Thank you.
