Heater tubing removal question for 5.0

91-5.0 AFR 165 heads.
I would like to block off the water port on my intake manifold at cylinder #4. Since I do not have a heater or EGR assembly on my intake, I would like to plug the rear passage by #4 and relocate the temp sensor to the front port on cylinder #1 with a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter on the intake manifold. Next I would like to plug the water pump outlet for the heater hose assembly.

Would there be a problem on water circulation on the head for passenger rear if I blocked it off?

Would there be a problem with the water pump loading up and causing damage if I plugged the heater outlet?

Since the temp sensor sits higher with the adapter, would it still be accurate if a little air pocket forms under the sensor?
