Body out for paint, been installing carpet and generally tweeking. A while back I posted that I was breaking up, kind of like reaching the rev limit at the top of third gear (not really the top, but just pushing a little). NKG's were gapped @ 0.050" (someone, Summut tech, I think recommended for my set-up). Yesterday regapped to 0.035" per a Forum recommendation, and took out the rev-limiter. Have not had the chance to bump it just driving the roller around the neighborhood today, but it runs alot rougher than it had; not as smooth and responsive as it had been. Any suggestions? When I regapped, just did one plug at a time, so no wrong wire to plug.
Plugs are NGK FR5's, MSD 6AL with matching coil & wires, MSD 8456 disty, EFI 302 5.0, E303, twisted wedge heads, 1.6 rollers, GT40 intake.70mm mass air, 65mm throttle body. 155 pump, stock fuel regulator. Thanks. Oh, O2's are in #2 and #6 pipes, not in collectors.

My set-up is somewhat similar to yours - Twisted Wedge heads, MSD distributor and ignition, except I'm carbed. I had been running the plug gap at .050" until recently. As I was changing plugs anyway, I gapped them at .035" per a forum recommendation, and it was like yours, ran real rough. I went back to .050" and now it runs real smooth again.
