Roller Rockers round 2

After 2 1/2 months of waiting for a set of T&D rockers, I am ready to be done with the wait. I'm extremely frustrated and ready to make a change in direction. I'm now leaning toward the Harlan Sharp route.

The T&D's I ordered were specifically for Edelbrock heads. The only part number I see for Harlan Sharp is this (Harland Sharp S4006BKE - Harland Sharp Shaft Mount Roller Rockers - Overview - SummitRacing.com). Are these the correct ones for Edelbrock performer RPM heads on a 428 FE?

I've heard many horror stories about broken rockers on FE's. Do I need upgraded shafts and end stands or can I run them just as shown in the link above? FYI... The cam I will be running has .594 lift.

The T&D's come with rocker stand studs. Will I need rocker stand studs such as these to install the Harlan Sharps? http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-49878277102112_2212_625298

If you are using the Edelbrock springs or a similar pressure spring you won t need end supports. I would add the Harland sharp shafts also.

I am using the standard Edelbrock springs. I see that there are two shaft kits available. I'm not sure what the difference is.
Harland Sharp 4006S-1 - Harland Sharp Heavy-Duty Rocker Shafts - Overview - SummitRacing.com
Harland Sharp PR4006S - Harland Sharp Heavy-Duty Rocker Shafts - Overview - SummitRacing.com

I assume that both of these are different shafts than what come with the S4006BKE kit (Harland Sharp S4006BKE - Harland Sharp Shaft Mount Roller Rockers - Overview - SummitRacing.com I would hate to buy the same shafts twice.

Icon21 push rod length

I run the Harlan Sharp roller rockers on my 460. Be careful of the correct push rod length! I triple checked mine using and adjustable push rod. I found the correct length for proper rocker/valve contact was actually a push rod for a 351C! Factory length for the 460 was too long.

I just got off of the phone with Harlan Sharp. As it turns out the shafts in the S4006BKE kit are the same shafts as part number 4006S1 and PR4006S. Those skus are only if someone decides to piece a system together 4006S1 is a single shaft and PR4006S is a pair. They also stated that the S4006BKE works fine for stock or Edelbrock heads, they just use different spacers. They also stated that the stock stud kits will work for mounting them.
