driver side header install help

Any tips on installing the header on the driver side? I can't get it back far enough.

i tried from the top and there is no way to install it with out removing the steering shaft which is a whole other nightmare. if you have your car on jackstands install the header through the body cut out with the 4 hole flange on the floor you have to twist t n place between the 4 inch round tube the foot box and the inner fender panel you will scratch it.
unless you are having a problem with the header hitting the foot box then you have other issues. i have had mine in and out trying to heat it so it fits the car.

It helps if I install the driver side header on the driver side. I switched them out and was able to install them. Also, the steering shaft at this point can easily be removed so that made it easier. The real problem is I mixed left and right. I wonder why FFR doesn't make them look identical. It would provide more room on the passenger side foot box.
