Here's a few shots I thought I would share with the BB crowd!

EM with a '63 FE 427

Unique 427 with a Southern Automotive 425 hp FE 406

They both make the proper sound only a BB can make!

I noticed your puke tanks has the cap on the pass side (I bought the same one). Does it hit the hood? I'm told you need the one that has the cap on the drivers side.

thanks

New BB Pics

Attached is a photo of my new BB. Built by Keith Craft, 514, 565hp, 650ft/lbs on pump gas. And yes, it has the wonderful webers. It started out as the 700hp BB but I wanted the carb change and a little more manners. Working on the MkIII roadster (non-donor) to put it in. How do I post this with the picture instead of the attachment?

picture post method

Thanks Dan, could you post me some instructions on how to put up the pics.

I am interested in seeing how your project goes. Any unforseen hurdles would be a help. I have all the parts in the garage. I am making a body buck out of aluminum tubing except for the shapes which will be the plywood. It will am making a storage rack above the garage door drive. I can't take the body off until I complete this.

Icon20 How to post inline images...

MGR409

Since the site software was upgraded it is a little tricky, follow this example:

replace "http://www.your filename here.jpg" with the link to your file.

Also you can experiment with image posting in the "Forum Help and Test Area", kind of a scratch pad for testing.

Cheers
Terry

This was my first FFR, built in 2000. It was a '66 428 with Edelbrock heads and Performer RPM intake, Holley 750cfm.

I sold the car in 2005, and plan to build another when the coupe is done.

My original racing 428 FE from 1967

I bought this engine from Carroll Shelby in 2001. It was raced in 1967 when the side oilers became scarce. Long story if anyone is interested, please email me. I'm planning on selling it as a long block, minus the intake and carb. so I can but a new Dove side oiler. I have all the specs., photo's and a short video on you tube, if you're interested, let me know. cobrakev@galaxycable.net Anyway, here she is. (I have changed valve covers to the Pentroofs)

Sitting & listening between the pipes of a 427/482 is fantastic! Only thing better is the torque!

To sotxbutler; How do you like the injection set up? I'm building a 427 and have been looking at the injection but still have this thing for the traditional webbers. I know about the never have to tune for climate thing, but love the old webber look. Any advice?
