Did anyone look at the date code on those tires?

Been there, and ALMOST done that! And yes it was on older tires in 30 degree ambient air temps. Damn car was near undrivable until later in the day when we got the crust knocked off and the track temperatures went up.

Don't know if that is this guys excuse, but it can happen, even when you are prepared, such as I was...or thought I was.
